When Just Pickle Co. approached us, the rapidly expanding pickleball market was flooded with overwhelming equipment choices, leaving players confused rather than excited. Our first step was to build a brand identity that cut through this noise and welcomed enthusiasts of all skill levels. Centered around their core ethos, "Enjoy the Play," we crafted a vibrant, approachable, yet premium visual identity and brand story. This foundational branding positioned Just Pickle Co. not just as another retailer, but as a trusted curator—a reliable hub where absolute beginners and tournament-level competitors alike could confidently find the industry’s best gear from brands like Joola and Selkirk, alongside exclusive "Just Pickle!" merchandise.
To translate this newly defined brand into a high-converting digital experience, we designed and developed a custom e-commerce platform on Shopify. We structured the site's UX entirely around the player’s journey, taking the guesswork out of shopping by organizing a massive inventory into intuitive collections like Beginner Sets, Value Paddles, and Performance Paddles. By leveraging Shopify's robust capabilities, we seamlessly integrated community-driven content, curated gift guides, and strategic product pairings.
